Wildwood packs more events into one summer than most towns see all year. Here’s your guide to the biggest Wildwood events in 2026 — plan your trip around them.
Major Events
- International Kite Festival (Late May) — One of the largest kite festivals in North America. The beach becomes a canvas of color.
- July 4th Fireworks — Wildwood goes all out. Watch from the beach or the boardwalk — both are spectacular.
- Fabulous ’50s Weekend (September) — Classic cars, sock hops, and Doo Wop nostalgia. Wildwood’s signature event.
- Irish Fall Festival (September) — Live music, Irish food, step dancing, and one of the biggest Irish festivals on the East Coast.
- Fireworks Fridays — Free fireworks shows every Friday night in summer on the beach near Pine Avenue.
- Boardwalk Craft Beer Fest — Local and regional breweries pour on the boardwalk. MudHen usually makes an appearance.
