Every May, hot rods, muscle cars and custom rides line the world-famous Wildwoods Boardwalk for two days; the organizer describes hundreds of cars lined up in rows along the oceanfront. The show is free for spectators. In 2026 it ran Friday and Saturday, May 8-9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; 2027 dates have not been announced yet.

What Makes This Show Special

The Spring Wildwood Kustom Hot Rod & Muscle Car Show turns the Wildwoods Boardwalk into a display of classic and custom cars.

The spring show is held on the Boardwalk itself. A separate fall show in late September adds an indoor show inside the Wildwoods Convention Center.

All makes and models 15 years old and older can be shown, and the owners are on hand and happy to talk shop.

What to Expect at the Show

The show runs two days each May. In 2026 the cars were on display Friday and Saturday, May 8-9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bring comfortable walking shoes for strolling the Boardwalk, and pack layers — May weather near the ocean can shift from cool morning breezes to warm afternoon sun. With the 2026 show running 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., there was plenty of the day left for the beach and boardwalk dining.
