Fourth of July Fireworks & Celebration in Wildwood
Wildwood celebrates the Fourth of July with free fireworks launched from the beach, watched from the sand and the Boardwalk. In 2026, for America’s 250th, the City of Wildwood ran four days of free events, with fireworks launched from the beach at Pine Avenue; the 2027 schedule has not been announced yet.
What Makes July 4th Special
- Wildwood’s Fourth of July celebration centers on the beach and the Boardwalk, with the city’s Independence Day fireworks launched from the beach.
- In 2026 the regular Friday Night Fireworks went off July 3, the Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular followed a free concert in Fox Park on July 4, and a patriotic drone show lit up the beach at Maple Avenue on July 5.
- What sets Wildwood July 4th apart is that the beaches are free, so you can spread out a blanket on the sand to watch. In 2026 the fireworks music played on the Boardwalk sound system and was simulcast on local radio.
What to Expect July 4th Weekend

- Saturday, July 4: the Jump City Jazz Orchestra in Fox Park, 8 to 10 p.m., then the Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular at 10 p.m. from Pine Avenue.
